Product Overview
Whimsical in terracotta, Leonard Churchill the Bulldog is a sculpture by the emerging Thai artist Nhut Nhathawut. with an expression that is so lifelike, it feels he may bark at any moment, there are a number of artisanal aspects to the canine sculpture. This includes the obvious strokes of the artist's tools that play along the surface of the dog's body. Brownlee Currey had some fun describing this breed, saying, “Broad, strong and steadfast, Leo would rather be at home with family than appear as the mascot of your sporting event. Lazing about the residence, he does rather wonder what all those working dog types might be up to. Probably no good!”

Shallotte Electric

The Shallotte Electric Stores were founded by Alton and Edna (E.B.) Milliken along with two of their teenage sons Al and Jamie. They rented a red and white grocery store building in June of 1971. The family stocked shelves and in some cases used empty boxes to give the appearance of a large inventory. Their timing in starting the business was good as the Brunswick County beaches became more and more popular. As Brunswick County Grew so did the business.
